WHO WE ARE
Lifting as We Climb
We are part of the first African American organization for women. We have 7 strong states representing our region. We encourage youth and teach them how to live with integrity. We reach out to lift members of our communities, while continuing to grow and climb ourselves. We are the SOUTHWEST REGION of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF COLORED WOMEN'S CLUBS.
"We need to feel the cheer and inspiration of meeting each other, we need to gain the courage and fresh life that comes from the mingling of congenial soul, of those working for the same ends."
Josephine St. Pierre Ruffin
